You have probably heard us talking about Papier16 over the past several weeks and may have guessed, we are pretty excited about it. The fair began last night with a ceremonious VIP evening and officially opened to the public today. Station 16 Gallery is honored to be featured alongside the many galleries showing at this fair. In true Station 16 style, we are always pushing things a little bit further and have some AMAZING new pieces to show you! Among several new pieces on display in our booth (J03!) by artists Alan Ganev, Laurence Vallières, Stikki Peaches, Whatisadam, Peter Andrew, Cope2, Enzo Sarto (and many more), we are introducing for the first time in Montreal the artist duo ASVP.

A Global Street Art Story: Alice Pasquini
Alice Pasquini represents her country of Italy in Station 16’s Global Street Art Story.
Pasquini’s adorable larger than life mural in Terracina, Italy
The artist, born and based in Rome, places an emphasis on strong, independent women to counteract the incessant proliferations of overly sexualized women in pop culture and the media. Her print, launching at Station 16 Gallery this week, will reflect this message as the artist represents a strong woman wearing a face-covering hoodie that only a vandal would wear.
